Albert Gjedde is professor of medical neurobiology at Århus University, and director of the Pathophysiology and Experimental Tomography Center at Kommunehospitalet, Århus, since 1994. He is a co-founder of CFIN: Center of Functionally Integrative Neuroscience.
1989-1994 Albert Gjedde headed the McConnell Brain Imaging Center of the Montreal Neurological Institute. He remains an adjunct professor of neurology and neurosurgery at McGill University in Montreal, and research collaboration between Montreal and Århus remains close.
